SAN FRANCISCO, California, September 26, 2019 — dQ&A Market Research Inc., the leader in diabetes patient research, announced that by popular demand, its European Patient Panel Research Service will be expanded to include Italy at the end of 2019.
Complementing dQ&A’s current studies in the United States, Canada, and 5 European countries, the Italy survey will capture patient-reported feedback on diabetes drugs and devices, including usage, strengths, and weaknesses; product switching behavior and drivers; awareness of and interest in new products; treatment satisfaction and quality of life; and demographic and ‘healthographic’ profiles. The survey will be fielded twice a year.
Clients use dQ&A’s Patient Panel Research Services to benchmark their products and market performance against competitors, to build a deeper understanding of their end users and their target markets, to get an early read on new therapies, to characterize trends, and to assess likely future performance.
dQ&A launched its European Patient Panel Research Service in 2017 in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. It now covers 2,500 people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes across Europe, and continues to expand through dQ&A’s ongoing recruitment programs and partnerships.
“This launch comes in response to client demand for robust patient feedback in Italy and builds on the success of our existing European Patient Panel Research Service, which provides a treasure trove of data for intra-country analyses and international comparisons,” said Richard Wood, dQ&A’s CEO. “We’re thrilled to be able to help clients better understand what life with diabetes is like in Italy, so they can develop products and services that better meet people’s needs and preferences.”
