New Data from dQ&A Patient Voice
The latest data in our current survey highlights geographical differences in the comorbidities experienced by people with diabetes along with satisfaction with their glucose control.
People with diabetes in the USA are more likely to experience comorbidities than those in EU countries, according to dQ&A data from 10,000 patients. These include high blood pressure, heart/circulation problems, kidney problems, high cholesterol or triglycerides, and hypothyroidism.
These geographical differences are true for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
Patient Satisfaction With Their Glycemic Control
Despite higher rates of comorbidities in the USA versus the EU, patients in the USA are more satisfied with their glycemic control than those in the EU. Once again, these geographical differences hold true for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
